Patong Beach High Noon

Located at the west coast of Phuket Island and facing the Andaman Sea, Patong Beach is a 2 kilometer crescent shaped beach. With a long golden sandy beach and coupled with great sunshine, Patong Beach is definitely a paradise for the holiday sun seekers. During the peak season, January and February, starting from morning the sun seekers start pilling up on the sun beds and the umbrellas start to pop up one by one, and by high noon Patong Beach will be almost at its full capacity.

There are plenty of activities on offer here, parasailing, jet-ski, banana boats, kayaks, just to name a few, or one can just relax on the sun bed and get some needed sun bath. Vendors of all kinds from selling drinks and food to silk and ornaments, will walk up and down the beach. Many masseuses are set up at the shady part of the beach, what better place to enjoy a Thai massage than at this beautiful beach. If one gets hungry just walk to the many restaurants situated beside the beach, from local seafood restaurants to the western fast food chains including McDonald and Burger King, there are just so many places to fill one’s stomach.

Many sun beds are for rent here. A set, consists of two sun beds, a table and an umbrella, price starts as little as 200 baht.
